Guarantee and Return Policy

As an oboist, I know the frustration of receiving reeds and cane that just aren't what I expected. I've created my guarantee to protect you, the customer, from any such frustration.

For reeds:

  1. When you receive your order, immediately inspect all of the reeds for damage from shipping. E-mail me immediately if you need replacements.
  2. Play your new reeds as soon as you can. If they are the wrong strength, or if you find anything else unsatisfactory about them, please e-mail me immediately.
  3. Mail any unsatisfactory or shipping-damaged order back to my address.
  4. When I receive your returned reeds, I can either adjust them to the correct strength, send new reeds, or as a last resort, issue a full refund.

For cane:

  1. When you receive your order, immediately inspect all of the cane for damage from shipping. E-mail me immediately if you need replacements.
  2. Try your new cane as soon as you can. If you don't like it, please e-mail me immediately.
  3. Mail the unused or shipping-damaged portion of your order back to my address. Please note that used pieces of cane cannot be returned or refunded.
  4. When I receive your returned cane, I will issue a refund for the number of pieces returned, OR I will ship you some new cane- you decide which!

For blanks:

  1. When you receive your order, immediately inspect all of the reed blanks for defects or damage from shipping. E-mail me immediately if you need replacements.
  2. Try your new blanks as soon as you can. If you don't like them, please e-mail me immediately.
  3. Mail the unscraped or shipping-damaged portion of your order back to my address. Please note that blanks that have been scraped cannot be exchanged or fully refunded.
  4. When I receive your returned blanks, I will issue a refund for the number of blanks returned, OR I will ship you some new blanks- you decide which!
