I have been using the Reedtools knife exclusively in my own reedmaking since the 2008 IDRS conference. It has a balanced feel to it and the razor sharp edge is easy to maintain.

I sharpen often and it takes less than a minute. Use the highly polished carbide sharpening burnisher to straighten the microsopic burr before doing a few swipes on each side with the leather strop, and you're ready to continue your work!
