Angela Wells

Owner and operator of The Reedery, woodwind repair technician, flute and oboe repair specialist, oboist, reedmaker

Angela completed her Bachelor of Music degree at CSULB in 2006 and the Band Instrument Repair Diploma program at Red Wing in 2007. She has studied woodwind repair with Jeff Peterson, oboe repair with John Peterson, and piccolo repair with Paul Rabinov. She earned Straubinger certification in March of 2009.

Angela is also an active performer on oboe in the greater Los Angeles area. She holds the principal oboe position at the Orange County Symphony in Anaheim and also performs regularly in musical productions, community bands and orchestras, the Vietnamese American Philharmonic, and much more.

Lesley Frey

Woodwind repair technician, bassoon repair specialist, bassoonist, reedmaker

Lesley completed her Bachelor degree in Music at CSULB and completed the Band Instrument Repair Technology program at Renton Technical College in 2012. She has studied woodwind repair with Angela Wells. Lesley is also an active performer on bassoon in the greater Los Angeles area.

Kristin Rollins

Woodwind repair technician, clarinet repair specialist, clarinetist

Kristin completed her Bachelor degree in Music at CSULB and completed the Band Instrument Repair Technology program at Renton Technical College in 2012. She has studied woodwind repair with Angela Wells. Kristin is also an active performer on clarinet in the greater Los Angeles area.
